| Well, one day Bronx peed right on the toe of a friends shoe. Boy was that embarrassing I looked at the little belt things for boys today, they are about $15 and I thought he will probably pull it off, but it just goes around his waist like a tie. I think I am going to try to make one with a dishtowel and see how that works. I have to walk around the entire house each day and wipe up 3 drops by the leg of every chair. Don't know if it will work, but I am going to give it a try. Then take it off when I take him outside.???

| Oh no! This is awful, I'm sorry Someone else on the forum went through this recently; maybe in the last 2 weeks. Maybe someone can tell you who it was or you could do a search. Hope you resolve it soon. |

| Control his water intake. Do not leave a bowl of water down at all times.Take him on scheduled walks. Don't let him pee where he wants to. Take him to ONE tree, ONE spot and tell him to hurry up. I don't know if that will work but it did work for a friend's foster dog.

| I'm sorry for laughing but you have to admit you'd find it funny if it happened to someone else. The only thing I can suggest is to put him in time out when he does it to the girls, only when he does it to the girls so he knows this is beyond the regular bad, no-no. |

| I would not recommend taking up water, ever. Especially as little as they are, dehydration can come on fast. It is summer, too. Be careful of that.

| Thanks guys,I will try all the different advice and see which will work best...I will let him wear a belly band when he's around the girls.Hopes that works. It was funny the first time he did it,until I had to bath her 3 times a day.I don't think she appreciate it either.

| Boy, I'm glad Bronx hasn't thought of that one yet! With our puppies, bronx has that much more work to do, keeping up with all of them (trying to overpee everyone.) Maybe that's the answer - get right to the source.

I just live in Texas, and I always worry about thirst. Out here sometimes people just don't use good judgement, sometimes and I know of people who have killed small dogs accidently from water deprivation. It is horrible! I would never insult your integrity, I know you are a loving mommy! Please forgive me!

| These determined male Yorkies will mark with their last drop of urine. Has he been neutered? Have the girls been spayed? If so, that certainly can not be the answer. So, you probably are gonna have to resort to using belly bands on your boy. From my and YorkieRose's experience, they work like a charm. I make mine and they are really easy. Also, My boys don't take them off. The girls, on the other hand, have to be taught not to do that.. |
