| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator  |  Marcel's Bloodwork: Neuter Rescheduled :( Well, after getting myself all worked up over getting him neutered today - the vet wants to reschedule just in case. His cholesterol is low and his amylase is low. She wants to check the bile acids, just to rule out any liver problems. He is SO healthy, vibrant, and symptom free that I cannot imagine that anything is seriously wrong w/ his liver. I guess I'll know for sure in a day or so.

| I am so sorry to hear that, but very glad that your vet is being so careful. I'm praying that all of the new tests come out fine. That has to be frustrating.

| Oh dear Seen as he's so healthy, fingers crossed the bile acid test reveals that there is nothing wrong with his liver. There are so many things that can affect the tests. I'll be praying that the results bring good news  |

| What a wonderful vet you must have. It is great that Marcel is so healthy but it is always better to check. Ellie's vet is shocked that her bile acids are up because she has no symptoms that she would call clinical. It can be very frustrating.

| Sounds like you have a detail oriented vet, and that's great! He sounds like a healthy little boy but it's always good to check. I'm sure he'll be fine though
