| ![]() I am trying to figure out recipes and adding supplements... any ideas? I'm nervous about homecooking and want to feed my baby the best. Is the solid gold multi vit and bonemeal supp good to add into the recipe? Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

| ![]() I used the first recipe on this thread and it worked out great. A variation is to add brown rice, or quick cooking oats or pasta and then put it all in the food processor, then freeze in containers or freezer bags. Sonya http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75933

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() When homecooking, the most important thing to supplement is Calcium - bc it is needed to "balance" all the phosphorus. A multi is nice bc then you get vits A & E, which are often added to kibble. The other biggies are the EFAs, probiotics, and digestive enzymes. I use eggshells for the calcium (or you can use Bone Meal) and then I give this multi, which contains vits, minerals, digestive enzymes, EFAs, and probiotics: http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/produc...at/999065.aspx
