Does your yorkie treat you like a 2nd class citizen?

With Lilly she is the queen of the bed. I try to lay her toward the edge so I can have room to turn over..but Lilly prefers to be curled up in the middle. When I try to move her she'll just stretch out (the long ways of course) and stay like that. I know she's trying to teach me a lesson so I just turn over and sleep on my two inches of mattress.

I've learned my place!

Also I am NOT a morning person! Getting up before 10:30 to me is toooooo early. Well Miss Lilly (as my parents call her

) loves to play at 4 in the morning! Of course I oblige because I don't want to face the consequences, then she is up again at 6:30 - 7:00 for breakfast. Then here is the kicker..I'll try to put her back in bed for a little nap at around 8 but she won't have it. Then I'll give up and take her downstairs to play and SHE'LL CURL UP IN MY LAP FOR SOME ZZZs..

If she wasn't so cute I swear!

mocha is the queen of my bed too. she does the exact same thing when we're sleeping. good thing she sleeps through the night, but she does wake me up at 6:30-7 to go potty. however, she goes right back to bed after. the only thing i have trouble with is getting her to go to bed at night. after about 20 minutes of digging and covering, she finds a spot suitable for her (for 5 minutes!) and then proceeds to do it again at another spot.

it's her bedtime game.

Yep Cody owns my apartment!! He takes a big portion of the bed or the couch. and he has me up at 7 am to go potty, breakfast then he plays til noon. and goes back to sleep.

Can I just tell you I say, why yes Bella, of course your the boss of me about 50 times a day! SHe knows how to tell me she wants me to get up so she can have my warm spot on the couch......

Yep, Tiki is queen of our throne she owns her momma and her daddy and the bed everything and anything....its so darn cute, she lets me know what shes needs and Me or her daddy are at her call always.....she knows she owns us to and its just tooo funny! She has to be sleeping with us of course in the bed and she sleeps basically on top of me then in the middle of the night she will get me up to get her a drink cuz she is thirsty I carry her to get a drink then ill go back to bed she will prissy back in there and growl and bark until i pick her up and put her back up in bed! she is spoiled rotten we luv her so much

My schedule is a product of what they want, and when they want it. Just once I'd like to sleep pass 6:30.

Sleeping late is no longer an option here at my house.
With two yorkies of my own and I'm baby sitting one for my boss.

My Pippy struggles for power,Moe though deffintely the king of our home is very submissive to Pippy and her pushy ways, she is the pssive agressive type.....she don't need to say too much to get her way.I do my best to keep it all fair here in a house of 4 dogs, as the Alpha should technically be our border collie, followed by Teddy our lab/whippet cross.These lil Yorkies deffinately get away with more, and surely have a territory range off limits to the big dogs.....such as bed, and car.....so I guess in thier own lil fuzzball ways these two mini mops have taken over! LOL
