Who uses Laura Mercier make up??

I have heard good things about this make up, that's its oil free, etc and i tried some of the products in Sephora yesterday. Which foundation do you think is the best for those who use it? And which other products do you use from her line? I loooooooved the Mosaic bronzer!!!

I have the powder and love it but it disapears FAST and I don't use that much - since it's so pricey I use my old stuff foro everyday and the Mercier when I go out -

I had a gift certificate at Christmas and got the powder - foundation and primer - Rebecca swears by this makeup ..if you type in a search you'll find more posts about this makeup

Thanks V! I have the Silk creme foundation, but that's only cause my mom bought it for me, it is very pricey. I like liquid foundations instead of powders so i like this one but i saw other ones there and i was wondering what the diff was. Anyway the lipglosses are so nice too, and the bronzers, i just LOVE bronzers!! I will do a search on it, thank you!!

Gosh I never heard of this make up, I will have to look into it. I just bought 'bare minerals' and like it and it covers quite well and yet still light.

i've been wanting to try laura mercier for the longest time but never got around to it. let me know what you find and how it is!

i've used bobbi brown, mac, and dior and to me, they're all about the same. i don't know what your skin type is but i have combination skin (oily t-zone, dry cheeks, and prone to acne and blemishes-i dunno what it is, but all the ladies i talk with give me funny looks and tell me it's because i'm young-i'm 23 ).

i'm currently using shiseido pureness for skincare and dior and mac for makeup.

I want to get more of her stuff when i have money, it's a little expensive. I also use MAC blush and bronzer and their eyeshadows are really nice! I also love Cargo foundation, bronzers and eyeshadows!!! How do you like Shisheido? I always wanted to try that and I also wanna try Yves Saint Laurent!!!

I use ALL of Laura Mercier's makeup products and have been for awhile now...like 6 years now. I love love love the secret concealer, secret camoflauge, foundation powder, oil free foundation, foundation primer, ALL of the lip products (especially lip glace & lip kisses). I love her eye shadows but I only use them on special occasions because I cannot tell too much difference between those and drug store brands and of course Laura's are more expensive. But all of the "flawless face" products on her website are my favorites for sure! If you have anymore specific questions, let me know! i love shiseido. or at least the pureness line because that's all i've tried. hehe. haven't tried their makeup, but their suncare line is really great. it is really expensive--we sound a lot alike. my mom is like, girls your age don't use this stuff, but you do. hehe.

Awww thanks so much for all the info! Hmm lets see..i do have some questions What is the foundation primer for? Is that a creme you put on before you put on the foundation? Also what is the secret camouflage? I loved the lip glosses too!! My mom bought one for herself and I plan on using it I always "borrow" her stuff. I'm going to check on the flawless face products, im really excited to try all of them!

Yea i've read about Shisheido in the mags and always pass by their section at dept. stores and i see they have a lot of stuff for tanning, etc, which i do a lot of (but safely of course). A must have for me are bronzers cause it gives you a glow and makes you look like you've spent a week in St. Tropez even if you haven't So im going to check their line out, thanks!

Foundation primer you put on your face before you apply your foundation. It makes your face very smooth so your foundation goes on very nice and it makes your foundation last longer!! The secret camoflauge is used as a concealer on your face for blemishes. I LOVE the secret concealer for under eye circles.

Okay I have a question Rebecca.....I was just turned on to the Bare Minerals and it seems to really offer MORE coverage for my acne I have and stays all day long. I have never heard of Laura Mercier so I am going to go look it up but is it better than the Bare Minerals stuff?

I have both & think they're each good - - I use the Bare Minerals for everyday and save the LM for days I know I'll be out a while or special occasions - it really is nice makeup - but so is the B. Minerals

I heard the Bare Minerals is really good for your skin because of the minerals. I also heard it would help my skin improve complexion wise so thats another reason I was asking.
