I wanted to let everyone know that I will be crusin' through Alaska

this week! We leave tomorrow, and we'll be back next week. I know some of you couldn't care less

, but for those who I correspond with regularly, I think I've let most of you know that I'll be away from my computer, but in case I missed anyone...hopefully you'll catch this thread. My husband, Matt, and I are going on a Carnival cruise - Northbound through Alaska

- for our 1-year anniversary

! Misty (mistyinca) is so wonderful to babysit Sukoshi for us while we're gone (our first time leaving Sukoshi with someone else, so wish us luck

)! Thank you Misty! I don't know what I'll do with no Sukoshi and no internet access

, but something tells me the beautiful scenery will keep me occupied! It also looks like it's going to work out to meet-up with Mike (alaskayorkie) while we're in Anchorage, and I'm so excited to meet he and the boys while we're up there. So...I know I'm still relatively new here, but that's where we'll be...in case anyone misses us

. Don't do anything too exciting here on YT until I get back!!!!

Enjoy your trip!!! Hubby and I have been twice and loved each trip!!!! You are going to have a great time! And kudo's to Misty for watching your furbaby!

Tip: Don't scrimp on the Offshore Excursions! They are worth the money! And make sure you take the "Wildlife Quest and Whale Watch"! The absolute best!!!! I think it's offered in Ketchikan or Jeneau... can't remember which.

We leave in September for a cruise going to Canada and the New England States. Would love to hear comments if anyone has been on this one.

Ooh! That sounds so exciting!!!

Take LOTS of pics with YT's cutest little Yorkie boys when you meet them!!! Chloe says to give Eddie & Jack a big Yorkie hug for her!

Have fun on your trip! Im so jealous of Misty, I wish I lived closer so I could babysit Sukoshi! IM also jealous you get to meet the famous Mike, Eddie and Jack. Watch out for those moose he is always talking about and take lots of pics so you can post them on here when you get back

No need to worry about Sukoshi. She did beautifully her first night here!

She and Chloe are getting along like best friends!

I think I'll even start another thread with pictures and videos of the two of them while she's on her "extended sleepover!" That way, when you get back on YT, Lisa, you'll have a little scrapbook of her little vacation!

Sounds like you are going to have the trip of a lifetime. Have fun! And don't forget to buy Sukoshi lots of souviners to make up for leaving him at home.

My dread trip is to drive to Alaska. Maybe in my next life.

I was just reading CNN.com about the 5 people in the sightseeing accident, and immediately thought of you. I just now re-read the thread and realized you are on Carnival and those five were on Sun Princess or something, so thank goodness you are okay. I hope everything goes really well and you have a safe and fun trip!
