Is it true that if your dog's eyes are green when you take a picture of them with your camera that they are a silky terrier? And if the eyes are a reddish brown color they are a yorkie??

Another silly question I know...

I think it means coat texture - not breed of dog

If they are the blue or green then your YORKIE's coat texture is thought to be silky

If the red/gold color then the coat texture is thought to be cottony

yorkies can have to coat types, silky.. which means it is nice and straight or cottony.. which means it is a bit curly, thicker and matts easier. Layla's eyes are red in the camera and she has a cottony coat. a silky terrier is a totally different breed... cute.. but not a yorkie

I just read about this in another thread, and it makes me happy because I reeeeeally wanted a silky coat, and Paddington's eyes turn blue in pictures. I love him no matter what, but it is the pictures of silky coated yorkies that I fell in love with, and really wanted. I think cotton coats are pretty too, but I hope that this myth is true because I will be so happy if Paddington has a silky coat- just the icing on my cake
