|  Yorkie turns crazy when I cut his nails!!! My dog turns crazy when I cut his nails. i don't cut his quick or anything and he was fine when he was younger. Now he scratches me and tried to bite me. Anyone know why?  |

|  I'm not sure why...maybe he has just gained new sensitivities with age. Search for tips on cutting nails, there are several threads about it here on YT.

| I have one that is like that too. You would think I was killing him by the way he acts. It take two of us to hold him down and somethimes we still cant do it and he only weighs 4 lbs. |

| I use a dremmel and file rather than cut. I still need to have hubby hold the girls wrapped in a blanket, but they don't fight and scream (literally) as they did when we were clipping them. It is very quick also!!
