Since the weather is getting warm and his hair was getting long again I decided to cut it myself after his bath!

You wouldn't believe how much hair came off this 6 pound dog!

I kept the legs and head longer and cut the body short. I think I could go even shorter on the body next time. Well maybe if I get up the courage.

I know it's not the best cut he's ever gotten but he seems very happy and I just saved $55! LOL!!

I just realized I don't think I've posted a picture since December!

WOWWW!!!! You did great!!!!!!!!!! Mine squirm a lot, and it takes me about 1 hour to cut them... he is precious!!!

HUBBA HUBBA BRUTUS it's been toooo long since we've seen your handsome face and what a great job your mom did - I'm super impressed !! wow Carolyn - I know how much hair he has and you did really good !! You should be proud of yourself and he looks so happy with his new 'look' !

Thanks guys!! Do you think I should cut the hair on his tail? Not like a Schnauzer's tail but a trim? His tail looks so big now!

Villette did you see the picture of him with his tongue out? I tried to get him to "pose" by asking him if he wanted a treat and he licked his lips!

Of course after the treat he decided to mess his hair as you can see in the last picture!

That last picture cracked me up....They sure know how to act silly right when you want them sitting pretty ...and which tongue pic ?? I looked at them all and all I saw was a sweet hopeful little face cause I bet Mom was bribing him LOL

The second to last photo has a little big of tongue in it.

Thank you! What I failed to show in the pictures is I believe I gave him a BABOON BUTT!! Oh jeez wait till hubby sees this! And wait until he's sees his mustache trimmer that I used to do it!

Thank you! I've seen Sophie with shorter hair but it's even shorter now right? I love it! She's just so pretty!

You did an amazing job. He isn't all chopped up at all.

I would keep the hair on the body that length. With his texture coat it looks much better than the short style.

Thanks! I was hoping I wouldn't make him all choppy all over! Thanks for the tip too!

My husband came home and thought he looked adorable and didn't even see the baboon butt! Yeah!!
