Hunting for a yorkie

I am hunting for a yorkie to adopt. My husband has had 2 valves replaced in his heart, so I can not afford to buy one, the medical bills are out of this world. I have had some people contact me for adoption, but they want 500 0r more. I can buy a yorkie for that. Any ideas, suggestions, etc would be greatly appreciated.

Some rescues charge less than that, just keep looking...

Are you sure this is the right time for you to consider adopting or purchasing a Yorkie? Dogs take a lot of care, accidents happen, shots and vet visits are needed from time to time, Yorkies need regular grooming, toys, a good food etc...
