| ![]() Is anyone watching it? They are doing their Idols Give Back show, and I just haven't stopped crying since I started watching it. There is so much pain in the world, it just kills me. Sometimes reality is too hard to take. I just wanted to see if anyone else was feeling the way I am feeling right now. |

| ![]() Those kids in Africa, they're dying of malaria, and of AIDS, and of starvation...it just almost makes me sick! I know we need help here in America, too, but those kids are so beautiful and so cherished by God. I just wish everything would be okay, that they would get well and be healthy. There is no way for that to happen without my help, though. I just want to go there and help myself! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() I was just going to ask the same thing. I couldn't get thru on the phone lines but finally got thru on the website to donate. The show has been so sad, yet inspiring. My 21 year old dtr is wacthing it with me and it is a real eye opener for her. She wanted to donate too.

| ![]() I keep trying to get through on the website, as well. It just makes me want to rethink what I am doing, and who it is benefitting. I know I need to take care of myself, but I also need to think about how I can benefit my community, and in turn, the world. It just crushed me, because I haven't been thinking about this very much lately. I just am so selfish, my focus is on me, and not on serving the world. |

| ![]() I hope other influential shows jump in and do something as well. Maybe our war torn world can be turned around before it's too late. |

| ![]() They said that they have raised 30 million dollars so far! WOW! I pray that it all gets in the right hands, and that the children benefit so much from this! |

| ![]() I watched it and crying. Roxy crawled up on my chest and laid her head on my shoulder thru the whole thing. She never does that. She must have known how upset those pictures and stories made me. I don't know how many of you remember when the first Jerry Lewis Telethon aired and hitting the million dollar mark after campaigning all weekend was monumental. Idol Gives Back was over 30 million at the end of the show and there's still 4 hours to go. Way to go America ![]()

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | ![]() I was watching it...which is why I wasn't online. I cried like a baby. So, soooo incredibly sad. Seeing the little 12 year old boy that lost both of his parents break down and cry just did it for me. And the poor 28 year old mother who Simon helped put in the truck to take her to the hospital to try and save her life, and then 2 days later she passed away...my goodness, that just broke my heart into a million and one pieces. Thinking of all the KIDS there that are without parents and are having to fend for themselves - kids that DESERVE to be KIDS and are having to play the role of a PARENT because their parents are dying...it just isn't right. With SO many wealthy people in this world, there just shouldn't be poverty like this. It SHOULDN'T exist. It is ridiculous. My husband made a good point when he said that instead of buying all the unnecessary CRAP that I buy, I could be helping save a life. He is SO RIGHT.

| ![]() I was looking at worldvision.org, and it was pretty cool to see all the different things you could donate money towards. I guess if you're a shopper, you might could trade in a pair of shoes for pig for an African community. |
