I just seen on the news tonite that 3 coyotes attacked a rotweiller in the Decatur area. A warden just happened to see them and saved the dog. I have seen coyotes walk between our house and the neighbors a few times. And this summer I saw one just walking up our drive around 2

o in the afternoon. So I know they are around here since I live in the woods. We have even had a red fox come up and eat out of our dogs bowl that we set out in the summer when my Siberian husky is outside. With all of this snow and cold weather I guess their food source is getting slim. I told my husband that he has to put them on a leash and escort the pups outside from now on instead of just letting them out and standing by the door watching them. We have had racoons up on our deck everynight looking for catfood. and the deer are alot more active. Yesterday there were at least 30 of them in the front yard.
