![]() Hello everyone, I've been searching for a female yorkie for awhile now, with no luck. Well, I've had some luck but it's the "out of my price range" sort of luck! ![]() (Looking to spend around $600-700). I am looking for a female yorkie pup, black/tan, who won't weigh more than 5-7 lbs. I work from home so I'll always be here to love, cuddle and spoil it rotten! Willing to travel outside of NJ to PA, DE, MD, NY, CT for the right little girl. Thanks so much!

![]() Good luck in finding your baby. I live in NJ, also, and just recently added our Yorkie baby to our family. I thought, I would pass on what knowledge I gained in my search for our baby girl. Finding a female yorkie pup, at the weight range you are seeking for $600-$700, in our area, is going to be tough. Even non AKC registery eligible Yorkies, in this area, cost at least $1000.00. Would you consider an adult dog? You will probably have better luck getting an adult Yorkie in that price range. It seems that breeders in the southern states charge a little less for their Yorkies than the NY/NJ/PA/CT breeders do. Would you consider going to GA, LA,Kentucky, etc. to get your puppy? I have been in contact with 2 great Yorkie breeders in the NJ/PA area, but both sell their puppies for $1,500+, but their puppies are top quality and very well cared for. Maybe you might consider saving up more money and going with one of these breeders. If you would like more information and the names of the breeders, feel free to send me a private message. I would be more than willing to help. Good luck!

![]() Thank you so much for passing along your very helpful info...very kind! If we decide to "go south" I will certainly contact you. Don't want to waste your time right now, though, until we're ready to go that route. Thanks again and happy holidays!

![]() Have you checked with the YTCA (www.ytca.org)? They have a list of members/breeders on their website.... I know there's quite a few in the states you've mentioned.
