| Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | [SIZE="3"]Dear Administrator, Is it possable to get a disability forum started under the all else forums , I know there are many people here that have been afflicted with disabilities and I thought it would be nice to have a forum here for disabilities, I noticed there is several with MS and my husband has Parkinsons, hoping that this is possable. I have found sites on the net in the past but YT is so wonderful and it is like a family site, and I thought it would be so nice to have one here, by the way this is the only site I visit when I come on the internet Thank you for it and the moderators for the wonderful job you all do. What do others think on doing this? Thank you, Patti and Jack, and our precious Baby Blessing Thank you again. |

this is my second home but I thought it would be a nice forum to have here in YT. Those with disabilities could have a specific place to post to and also those without could learn more about some of the afflictions and things that people are so unfortunatly being struck with. In the beginning when Jack first came down with Parkinsons, I was so frustrated with friends because they would whisper to me that Jack remembered them, etc. Of course he did, Parkinsons is not Alzheimers but it is closely related. However I quickly learned to have patience with them and explained about Parkinsons and the differences. In asking the Administrator for this forum it is not only for those with afflictions but others to drop in and give support (which YT'ers are so great to do anyway) Disabilities come in many forms and everyone needs all the support and boost they can get from others. I believe it could be a great benefit for many many folks here at Yt. Thanks for your comments and happy to see others think this would be nice to have also. Patti and Jack | |

| Administrator | Thank you for your suggestion. You may want to check out our sister site: www.4WomenTalk.com Feel free to post any new topics regarding disabilities in the Off Topic section, but we don't feel it's appropriate to have an entire forum for this here, as the primary focus of this community is Yorkies. Thank you. |
