| I have used Shelly at Diamonds in the Ruff for about 10 years - I trust her completely. She's just off Parmer between Metric and Lamplight Village.

| You guys are making me homesick talking about Austin  I am living in Wa state right now (a beautiful place), but hearing ya'll talk makes me miss my place in Dripping Springs (west of Austin). I will be there though in a few weeks, helping my son move into a new apartment, he is a junior at UT. You know some of the things I miss most about living in Texas?...HEB (what I wouldn't give for an HEB) Serrano's The Salt Lick Dan's Yeah...it's all about the FOOD!! LOL

Living in Dripping Springs must have been great also - provided you didn't have to commute into Austin everyday!!! traffic is really bad now. I know what you mean about "it's all about the food"! I eat regularly at Serrano's - there's one on Red River, just down from where I work. We go out to the Salt Lick every couple of months. I haven't eaten at Dan's for a while now, but you can be sure I will now that you have reminded me! My fave place is Chuy's - mmmmmmmmm........ the BEST Tex-Mex in Texas!

| For Groomer - I recommend Sandra She is at Midtown Grooming Downtown. She's been grooming Dogs for years and she knows what she doing.  |

| Any known yorkie meetups Hey everybody! I just moved to Pflugerville TX (about 20 mins. from city of Austin) and I have a handsome little 5 month of man named Dolce who LOVES playing with other dogs, any size, and I was just wondering if there were any Yorkie, or toy dog meetups in the Austin area? I would love to have him romp around with some other dogs beside his cousin Romeo (maltese/yorkie-or papillion mix, we're not really that sure) who he lives with, even though Romeo would also be coming along. if anybody could give me some suggestions of places or would want to start a meetup just let me know! |  We live in Austin! I take Scooter to Petco at Hancock Center (41st and Red River). I always call ahead and I will only go to Jessica. She does a fantastic job on Scooter. I don't like for him to spend a full day at the groomers and if you make an appointment, Petco will do it while you wait. HEB is next door so I use the time to do grocery shopping. They always listen to the instructions/special requests I make. Plus, I can pick up any dog goodies I need at Petco. They have a window so you can stand there and watch if you aren't sure. Try them, I love it!
