|  champion title I was just wondering in USA how do dogs earn their champion title? is it done on points?  |

| Yes... To become an AKC champion a dog has to obtain a total of 15 points with two major wins. An explanation of their point system can be found on the AKC website. The UKC also holds conformation events. Check out their point system here. |
