![]() I am planning on going to my share house for a couple days July 4th weekend and there are alot of people in the house so I can't let Diezel just run around free. Last year he stayed in the bedroom and I would take him outside several times a day. However, the older he gets the more excited/overwhelmed he gets when there are alot of people around. I love the fact he loves everyone but it is almost as if he can't get to everyone at once and he gets very shaky and will continue to shake. I feel like that is just cruel. Is there anything natural that I can use that might make him a lil more relaxed. I really want him to be able to come with me but I think unless he chills out a little it might be better to keep him home. There is another lil yorkie that goes but He is better behaved. He is actually pretty lazy so all he does is lay around. You always know where he is. With Diezel you put him down and he is OUT! Last year I took a nose dive as he went charging towards the water and almost went over the ledge, I would rather not chance that this year and my nose/forehead would appreciate it also...lol

![]() if he has a crate that he feels safe in, I would put it out in the livingroom or somewhere else where it is safe. He can always to in there if he is feeling a bit anxious.

![]() If these people are close to you, ask them to take turns watching the dog, make sure he doesnt run out of the house and that should take care of it. Dog getting excited when seeing people is normal I would say. Remi jumps for joy when people come over.

![]() I think if you give him a tennis ball and let people play with him, he'll be fine. Just ask everyone to watch it, not to step on him.

![]() I sometimes use a natural food supplement for cats and dogs,it is called serene-UM. It calms and soothes them right down and is used for hyperactive dogs, aggressive dogs, car sickness, or just to calm your dog down like with fireworks and thunder storms. It's brilliant. ![]()

![]() When we go somewhere we always take our transportable play pen with us. In there Mitzi feels secure and she is not in danger to get stepped on. ![]()

![]() I take my 50-foot piece of clothesline to the lake and tie my pup up. This way, he has a lot of room to run around (50 feet one direction and 50 feet the other direction) - and I don't have to worry about his running away or going where he shouldn't. PS: The clothesline is so light that he's hardly aware that he's even tied up. And, of course, it can be made shorter, if necessary. He has used it for months and has never chewed on it...... Good luck and have fun! Carol Jean
