| ![]() I found these 2 bugs that I think are ticks in my guest room. I've been looking up pics of ticks but I don't the ones I found are ticks. I'm very worried. DOes anyone have pics of a tick or how one looks like? When I squished the bug, no blood came out but it did have legs and a hard red round body. Are they ticks? Thanks!

| ![]() Hi, I was at the Humane Society looking at the dogs, yesterday....got a puppy out to walk. I felt a tick on it and had hubby pull it out..... It looks kinda round and flatish....they only get more round like a flat ball when they have blood in them.....and it had like little tiny hairs around the flat body......it was GROSS!!!!! You may want to call an exterminator.....if they get in the carpet....that would not be good... Good luck! ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Here's a picture of some ticks http://www.lymenet.org/picture3.shtml They can be different colors, some have a white spot on their back. Some are larger while some are very small. Usually if you find them in the house it's because either you've carried them in or your dog has. If they have been attached they'll have blood in them. If they haven't been attached you cannot get any diseases from them!! We live in a wooded area and deal with ticks all the time. We've had several already this year on the dog and on us, but we've NEVER had any problems from a tick (ever).
