| ![]() Hello everyone, I got this beautiful girl as a yorkie, but form me she lloks more lik a Silky terrier than a yorkie, she is taller and heavier than an average yorkie (she weighs 10 pounds and she is just 15 months of age), has long muzzle and has not as much hair as the yorkies have. I had 3 yorkies and they all were small and had beautiful long hair. I didn't see her parents either. I'm wondering is she could be a Silky terrier, a teapot Yorkie, a Yorkie/Silky mix, Yorkie/Australian terrier mix or a Yorkie or Silky cross with another breed. I live in Uruguay and I have never seen an Australian terrier around, but could be. Her hair is not as soft as my yorkies' but it is still soft and doesn't shed. |

| ![]() She looks like a yorkie to me but the only way to really tell would probably be to do a DNA test. I have bigger yorkies, my biggest is my 3 year old 16 pound chocolate yorkie that is AKC registered. It's not just about size like Silky's generally have a larger snout.

| ![]() I think she looks like a yorkie. Could have silkie in her ... as Taylor said, DNA test could be done if you really wanted to know. Not an Australian Terrier imo

| ![]() She is adorable and looks all Yorkie to me, just a bigger Yorkie. My now passed girl weighed in at 17 Lbs as an adult, AKC registered Yorkie. Her hair never grew to ground level, her snout was long to fit her size, she was just a bigger Yorkie. To satisfy your curiosity, you can have you vet run a DNA on her.

| ![]() She looks to be quite the beautiful little Yorkie to me, as well. My Piper is a solid 10 lbs. People have questioned me as to whether or not she's a Yorkie because of her size. Whatever Piper is (and I believe her to be all Yorkie), she is exactly right for me, as I'm sure your little girl is for you and she is pure, 100% adorable, that's for sure!!! |
