| ![]() Bella has been getting really rambunctious lately with everything going on. When I got her three years ago she was not crate trained in my opinion. She hated being in any crate and would bark up a storm. I never forced her in it unless I had to keep her contained and than I always put her with Thumper to keep her calm. With her carrier I always let the flap open so she can go in it as she please. Sometimes she would look at it but never go in it unless Thumper was with her. (Thumper was always crate trained so no issue with him) Recently, she has been exploring it more going in and barking like she wants to go out on a trip. Over the past week I have found her sleeping in the carrier. It warms my heart that she is now comfortable with the carrier. I always leave the flap open so she can go in as she pleases. I never thought we would get to this stage because at the beginning she was scared to even approach a crate or carrier

| ![]() That is just fantastic, Bella has finally gained trust in her carrier, that is a great accomplishment for her. I know the joy you are feeling, for very baby step that is conquered by our fur babies is one giant step for the mamma. Congrats on your consistency with the carrier.

| ![]() That's so heartwarming to read! Glad Bella is feeling more comfortable in the carrier. When we crate trained Mike at 1 yo he would go there no problem if asked but never on his own, however after a few months he started going there for naps and quiet time and a year later it's one of his favourite spots at home. |
