| ![]() So my 13 year old girl Chloe has recently ended up with urine on the OUTSIDE of her right leg. My husband & I cannot figure out how this keeps happening! She is potty pad trained and we take her out regularly. Within the last month we have noticed almost seemingly out of nowhere her outside thigh and leg will be wet with urine. I am baffled as so how urine is even getting in this area. I'm constantly having to clean her. Has anyone else experienced this? |

| ![]() First things first - ![]() ![]() I am sorry little Chloe is having this problem. I have never experienced it - I am sure that others will post after me with other ideas - here are mine. If she hasn't had a check-up with her vet lately, that is always a good place to start. Do you "watch" her when she urinates - and what happens immediately after? Could she be losing her balance and falling into her urine? Or could she be rolling in it? The only other idea I have is that if she has long hair when she squats the outside leg hair can act as a wick and soak up the pool of urine. This happens with my Lacie who has a floor length coat if her leg hair isn't pulled up in a ponytail. |
