Yorkie Talker | ![]() Hi dear Fellow Yorkie lovers, It is so cold here and I live in GA., only 21-23'F my three little ones are not used to this. I have sweaters on them, but one of them don't like it ![]() Three months ago I had to let my sweet little Man Henry go , he was 11 it hit me like lightning and my heart still hurts. Now I'm paranoid and anxious because of every little different thing my little Ladies do. Vanna was/is his mate and their two daughters Carlie and Kiwi. Everyone in the cold and ice, keep warm and safe ![]() |

| ![]() So very sorry about your little man Henry. It is so heart breaking to loose our little ones. I have lost two older girls in the past year and half. I have a little old man going on 14 now and I know how you feel about protecting them. I try to watch everything that concerns him at this point. He usually stays curled in a blanket right next to me. When he isn't there he's in his little bed under blankets. My other three cuddle on the sofa with each other. If not there they are hard at play and being so very active I really don't think they notice the colder weather. But we haven't had snow and freeze in our area like a lot of people have gotten. So very thankful.

| ![]() It does take some dogs longer to adjust to clothes; don't give up on the sweaters! Could you put a warm hot water bottle or battery operated heating pad in their bed? If not, you could put a couple of warm, soft blankets, all messed up, in a box for them so they could snuggle and burrow inside or under them. I hope they sleep in bed with you at night when it's really cold! I hope the rest of the winter isn't so cold!

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | ![]() Do you have snow? If so, look into getting some simple fleece booties. If not, get coats that don't restrict their movement, then keep them moving on walks. Build up the time and keep the walks fun with toys or treats. With coats and booties, mine are good to about 5 below zero. Good luck!
