|  Possible new Yorkie baby!! (senior baby) Well I have to say I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. As you know after my Oliver died I have been looking at rescuing another sweet baby. Well I found a site yorkierescue.com. This little man was surrendered by a gentleman that had several Yorkies and unfortunately his health is failing so he could not care for them. He is 9 years young. I thought would get a younger dog but my heart is telling me this is so right. I liked the the fact that the adoption application was VERY detailed and they are doing a home inspection this week!!!

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker  | Well done, my friend did the same thing a few years back with a Westie, no-one wanted because he was 8. They are both very happy and the dog seems to appreciate what an altruistic dad he now has too. |

| House inspection is tomorrow. She is driving 2 hours to come here. I'm so nervous. Any advice?

| Thank you for applying to adopt this baby. I've fostered several seniors and they are the best dogs. My advice is just to be yourself. The person will know if you are the right one for the dog. Hopefully you have a safe yard and lots of love to give! Good luck! Let us know how the home visit goes

| He's home!!! I'm going to post a pic but I have to say he is the most handsome little thing I've ever seen. So sweet. Loves his bed. This is our first night so we will see how it goes. My heart is filled with joy. My heart hurts for him because I can tell he is confused. He went from his owner to foster care and now to me. The foster had 18 yorkies she was taking care of. I can't imagine.

| Yes it is Hunter on the website. He doesn't seem to respond to it though.. My husband slipped up and called him Henry and he went running to him. We had a great night he didn't make a peep all night. I however woke up a thousand times to make sure he was ok. I'm trying to figure how to upload a picture from my iPhone.
