Hi! This is a subject that is near and dear to my heart so I just wanted to share this with those of you who are interested in volunteering with your best friend.
Guinness and I have been a Delta Pet Partners volunteer since 2008 when he was 2 years old. At age 4, we passed the complex evaluation and went from visiting seniors in nursing homes to patients of all ages in hospitals.
IMO, Yorkies are one of the best therapy dogs!

Have you ever considered volunteering as a therapy animal team? Pet Partners invites prospective volunteers to attend a one-hour informational webinar (online interactive presentation) to learn about our Therapy Animal Program on Wednesday May 21st at 5:45 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (6:45 Mountain, 7:45 Central, 8:45 Eastern). Led by experienced volunteer Susan Tiss with the assistance of Pet Partners staff, this session will cover the process for becoming a registered therapy animal team with your pet.
