Luckily, it only happened once. For me, it was being diarrheaed on. It's funny when I think about it. I used to gag when I saw my friend pick up her pup's poop or clean the dog's eye goober and asked "how can you do that??? it's so gross!"

My hair gets everywhere, so Billi ends up eating it inadvertently if she eats a treat off the floor, well... hair is hard to poop out. I actually had to help her once.

The grossest thing that has happened with Nena is the day she pooped hard/watery poop with blood in it! It stank the whole house (we went to the vet etc and everything was good) but a couple of weeks after that she kept passing horrible gas! We had to open all doors and windows and put a fan!

The grossest thing Rufus did was pooped in his crate when he was a pup and stepped on it. Everything in his crate was filthy with poop including him
I had to bath him and wash everything.

I call Princeton the "poop whisperer." Some dogs sniff out missing people, drugs,wild game or even bombs....My dogs special talent is sniffing out poo. He's a bomb dog alright...a stink bomb sniffer. He does it constantly on our walks and it totally grosses me out!!

And thanks to Ricky, I had to move the cat box behind a baby gate because I totally busted him eating cat poop. It was sooo obvious because he had kitty litter in his beard.

Gina had really bad diarrhea shortly after we got her, she had blood in her stool just before. The new one is her getting into the litter box, we now have the baby gate up to the bathroom when she's not in her crate, I forgot the other night and broke 3 toes on the gate. Otherwise she's a normal puppy.

Let's see, for P-Nut, it's a tie between rolling in maggots (I thought he was just happily rolling in grass...till I looked closer) and eating cat poop. I'm a germaphobe neatnik, so those two events nearly sent me over the edge.

Pickles hasn't done anything gross yet. But, give him time, we've only had him since May.

I suppose the grossest thing either of mine have done is something they both do. They will find a bug and kill it OR find one already dead and then bend down and rub there faces and backs all in it. Ick! lol

For Molli it is hands down eating poop. One day she went to day care and they apparently didn't watch her very well because she came home and vomited poo! Talk about disgusting.

Poop stuff doesn't really gross me out as much anymore... But the maggot thing... OMG!!!! I absolutely HATE bugs!!! I always tell my friends: I don't like anything that has more than 4 legs or less then 2...

Gah~~~ just thinking about them makes me shutter!!!!

That reminds me of my Black Pug "Bruce" ... he was a poop eater (cue the song by Hall and Oats.. man eater .. but make it poop eater) ... he would come up to you and vomit out a lump of poop almost like it had been swallowed whole ..... gross a matoss .... he used to roll in tar .. anything that had tar on it .. like the bottom of telephone poles to stop them rotting ... he also was addicted to exhaust fums... if i let him out of the car first he'd run straight to the back of the car and rub his but on the axhaust pipe ... I caught him once while I had the car idling wiggling around in the fumes coming out .. it looked like he was a crack addict .... it goes with out saying I watched him like a hawk any time he was around a car .. that obviously was not doing him any good ....

My little one has been eating or at least half eating her own poop ... and thats gross enough as it is ... hoping thats going to be the only grossness she does ... but doubt it ... she is a dog after all :-)

Add Lacey to the 'Loves to eat cat poop' club. Will never forget the night she brought a piece of cat poop to bed and dropped it on the pillow next to my face. Then she looks at me with an expectant look on her face waiting for praise for the gift.
