This is tiny he took down his top knot lol he is 9 months today mama is almost white dad is proper color. My question is has anyone had a pup still be quite dark at this age I'll poSt pick with his hair up later to see his face better.

I have a little girl, named Teeka and she is 8 1/2 months. she has almost the same coloring. Some will stay dark......I had a 10 yr. old female that never changed from the black puppy coat! It can take up to 3 years to get their adult coloring.

Yogi is 4 1/2 years old and he's still dark. I know it's not "proper" color for a Yorkie, but I love.

There color can change up to two years of age. Callie is not super dark but she is pretty dark this is the best picture I have right now its from last summer its just been to cold to be nakie yet this year lol.

My Jada is dark and she is 6 years old. I love the dark coloring. I can't get pics to upload from my pc here at work for some reason..

but i have a naked pic of her in my avatar.

Aww beautiful babies!! I love seeing the darker colored Yorkies. I personally love them. We have a handful of darker colored Yorkies on YT all of them are adorable- I have a silver and gold baby so when people post the darker colored I get excited-

Thank you. I just love his color. He continues to change color, even at 4 1/2 yrs old. I cried the first time I found a little gray color on his shoulders. Told him to stop it or I was getting him Grecian Formula hair color for men and color him back to black.

Lucky for me, he's a very obedient boy and stopped turning gray.
