Looking for a Christmas pup in South Ga - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I am desperately searching for a tiny female yorkie for Christmas. I have been looking at and researching this breed for about six months and I am really anxious to get her. If there is anyone in South Georgia who has any information on any reputable breeders that I contact, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Ava Tyree might have some too, but don't know for sure. Best of luck.

A problem you might encounter getting a puppy before Christmas is that some breeders raise the price. If you just wait untill January you might get a better price.

Ava Tyree - she had the number 1 yorkie for 2004 and went Best of Breed at the Westminster Dog Show, NY, - BISS CH TYAVA'S WYATT EARP. Here is her site: http://tyava.com/ She is located in Marietta. I have met her before and I trust her. She is very reputable. I think she judges too. Best of luck.

That is sad to raise the price - just because of timing. That is like what they did with gas prices. Maybe we should have the Governor of their state do something about this. Hahaaha! I wish! I would never buy from anyone that raised their prices just because it was close to the holidays. Now I have had a lot of people calling me for pups right now. I don't have any, but if I did I always try to hold them till after the holidays - so the home is calmer - better for their change.

Many breeders will not sell or place a puppy during a holiday. Placing a puppy as a gift is a nice gesture but not always approprate timing. Letting a puppy go to a strange home filled with the holiday festivities, friends and family is not wise at all. The transition should be quiet, smooth, all attention should be one on one for the first few days, time should be spent bonding with your new puppy.

Thats the price for one of her tinies she other just as pretty for like $1500. SO she doesn't only charge outrageous prices.
