| Today is Thursday. On Monday he threw up under my daughter's bed and it was yellowish. He seemed fine except his appetite was a little less than normal. Wednesday he threw up in his car seat. He had just eaten dinner when I rushed out to pick up my daughter which was 5 min away. I thought it was prob because I rushed him right after he ate his dinner. That too was yellowish mixed with food. That evening we were running him hard in the backyard playing fetch and keep away. He seemed fine and energetic. Then this morning I woke to him throwing up in our bed. All liquid and still yellow. He seems fine thus far barking at birds outside and wanting to play fetch as I type this. He has not eaten his breakfast yet but I have put it out for him. This week his appetite has been off. He finishes all his food but not in one sitting. He may eat half and then come back later and eat the rest. We give him 1/2 cup a day; 1/4 in morn and 1/4 in evening. I will be calling the vet when they open this morning. Has anyone seen this? Vomiting randomly with yellowish color? |

| Im so sorry that your baby is not well. The only time any of my dogs throw up is when they havent been fed on time and go to long on empty or if they eat something that didnt agree with them. I recently found out that one of my babies can not eat fresh blueberries or honeydew mellon, not even one tiny bite. |

| Thanks for your reply. I have and appt with the vet today. He went on his morning walk and all went well. His stool was a little soft in that is smeared when I picked it up. He came in the house and drank and ate a few bites but not even half of his food. I then did our morning grooming and he was fine with that and frisky. He gobbled up the cheerios with a little bit of training and now is playing with a stuffed animal. Do dogs get acid build up? |

| The yellowish throw up is bile. If his appetite isn't very good try some plain boiled chicken with plain probioitic yogurt on top. Georgie can never turn that down. I definitely would call your Vet and take him in just to check him. I hope he feels better soon.

| Toki did this a couple of times...she would throw up clear, yellow liquid in the early mornings. It happens to her when she goes for so long without eating food. In the mornings, I started mixing a little wet food into a small amount of her breakfast kibble portion so that she would eat immediately and her tummy would have a little something in it (otherwise she normally wouldn't start eating until noonish! she loves to lay in her bed and nap in the morning sun!). She would then finish the rest of her plain breakfast kibble around noon when she was up and about. Making sure that she ate in the mornings completely fixed this issue for us . |

| I would for sure go to the vet. Kayla started on new meds yesterday and has thrown up twice. My vet said to give her Pepcid 10mg. and just alittle food tonite. I don't know about the acid build up but I would not guess and go to the vet. Hope your baby gets better. |

| Went to the vet. He prescribed two meds; one for the morning and one for the evening. He also gave us some bland canned and dry food. He takes the meds for 4-5 days. The canned food is more to hide the meds into. Vet said if he continues to vomit while on meds and bland diet then we will do xrays and bloodwork. He took meds and ate food last night and this morning and so far all is well. |

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Sounds like you're on the right track . Just a quick question that crossed my mind bc of your user name "grapeguzzler" -- are you giving him grapes? Bc if you are, I just wanted to mention that dogs shouldn't have grapes at all - and that if you are giving them, they'd definitely contribute to GI problems....not to mention, they can be deadly toxic to dogs.I hope he is on the mend and feels better soon.

| my little Emy has started to do that for the past 2 days....I just got her two weeks ago, she has been to the vet, as a matter of fact we went on Wednesday for her 3rd booster shot, then on Thursday, she threw up clear stuff, still eating drinking pooping and playing just as usual. Last night around 2:30 am she woke me up and I took her to kitchen and she peed, pooped and then through up a yellowish bile also. Then she went over to her food and started to eat, then she wanted to play at 2:30 am! I put her back to bed, then this morning when I got her up, she is absolutely normal, went for a walk, pooped again and drank water and played. So I'm wondering if the shot she had on Wednesday might have contributed to her upset tummy. I did notice she had the hiccups in the middle of the night..the night before. |
