| ![]() I have a 4 year old Yorkie who has a progressively worsening case of collapsed trachea. I'd like to get him in to see someone in the area that is experienced treating this. Does anyone have any recommendations in the Raleigh area? I'd rather not roll the dice and assume that the current office I'm going to is experienced in treatment of this problem. |

| ![]() I have a pom that has always had this problem. It got really bad. My vet recommended trying Predisone. It has helped so much. Hope you find help soon for her.

| ![]() I'm so sorry to hear that your baby has CT. My prayers are with him, and you. Believe me, I know. I don't know of a vet in your area, but I would def check out Chapel Hill. When my son was a student at UNC, we would see so many yorkies there. I would call several until you feel comfortable with one of them. This may be rolling the dice, but time is of the essence.

Paris: Always in my ♥ Donating YT Member | ![]() Paris has this also, unfortunately he isn't a candidate for any surgery because of the location of the collapse and his age. He is taking hycodan syrup right now but may need something stronger later on. It's a terrible sound but it can be managed. I cut out burning candles and never have used carpet fresh type stuff, they breath that stuff in. www.paristheblindwonderdog.blogspot.com |
