anyone feed solid gold? And do you like it?

I just started mine on the solid gold less active and not sure I like it. I have been mixing it with their Nutro Ultra and they leave the Solid gold for last. Also, it seems like they are having bigger poops. I tried Wellness a few weeks ago and Pixie had a hard time eating the kibble and 2 of mine threw up that week.

Mines eating orijen poultry. I have been putting one teaspoon of wellness beef stew on top. They love it. I just think they do better with not so high a protein level and cant figure which one will work for all. I was thinking about the solid gold lil bites.

I like anything (dog food) that my dogs will eat... I'm not sure why but they would not even touch the Solid Gold, and they all at least taste anything I give them... Hmmmm.

That said, it contained a type of meat meal, which may or may not contain Ethoxyquin, a presevative I like to distance my pups from... That was about 1 year ago... don't know if they changed their formulas or not.

Ethoxyquin is not listed on the label, because they do not add it, but it comes in the meat meal they purchase to make their food with.... handy loophole...
