Moving from Tampa to St. Louis - YorkieTalk.com Forums

My family and I are moving over a thousand miles away and when we go our yorkie will be 5 months old. I have a travel carrier but he cries if he's left in there to long. A long trip is uncomfortable for anyone and I didn't know what I can do to make him comfortable. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has any suggestions on making his transition to a new home easier that would be great!

I don't have any suggestions and am sure there are others that have traveled with their yorkies but I live in St. Louis so feel free to ask me any questions. It's going to be a BIG change from Tampa. We've had our worst winter in many years this winter. Thank goodness it's almost over!

I've kept watch over the storms up there. You all were hit hard several times. I keep telling everyone I'm so not looking forward to the winters up there, but we'll do fine. I will just have to keep Hercules bundled up.
