| ![]() I have found so much great info on this forum but there is one thing that I am still trying to find out. One of my Yorkies has black stuff around his eyes, when we first adopted him I thought the lady had put mascara on them, she had sprayed him with perfume so mascara would not have surprised me. I clean them with a baby wash cloth and water but I was wondering if any of you that are groomers would know of something that I could use that close to his eyes that would be faster, I am afraid to use tearless shampoo that close. Chloe has the usual eye boogers but nothing like Roscoe, his is black and all the way around his eyes in the morning. If any of you have any tips I would be very thankful. Here are before and after pictures of both of them, as you can see we really need to find a good groomer. You can't see his eyes because of the long hair, he does not like the flash on the camera either.

| ![]() They make a product called Angel Eyes for this. There is also one called bright eyes. You can take cotton ball and put some on it then gently wipe downwards from eye. DO not get it in the eye. You might find out more about it by googling it. Once you have it cleared up wipe eyes everyday should eliminate it. Good luck, Sue |

| ![]() Thanks for the reply, it is much better now, I'm thinking maybe it was allergies. They may be better now because of the better quality food that he has been on for the last few months, who knows what he was being fed before. I use Calm Eyes for the tear stains, Chloe doesn't really have bad eyes and Roscoe's are much better now. This was think black stuff and it was all around his eyes. Thanks for the info, this site is great!

FYI - Tiny Hairs around the eyes may cause that AND uncleaned teeth!! Guliver RIP had this for long time and after the vet extracted his bad teeth, it went away! | |

| ![]() Chloe and Roscoe say Thank you! Chloe always tilts her head when you say "Who's a pretty girl?" I hope to one day find a good groomer that I know I can trust to take them to, for now the poor little things have to deal with me cutting their hair. ![]()
