| ![]() I just got my little guy neutered. You can ask your vet to provide pain meds. If you plan on getting her spayed go ahead and do it now while you can give her the full attention she needs. Bringing a little guy home will take up some time to work on the details of potty training and such. Plus she can lay around safely at this stage and not have to worry about getting play attacked by a new fur brother. I think you should also check out the kiss e collar too. Much better then the hard plastic ones the vets office will give you. And you need to keep a collar on her post surgery so she doesn't pull out stitches or lick the area and cause an infection. I won't lie and tell you I wasn't worried. But I have a vet I really trust and made sure they had done plenty of surgeries on small animals. In the long run it will be better then having to separate the two when she comes into heat or take the chance of puppies. |

| ![]() He just came home today and I swear it's really like he didn't have anything done. I had to put a harness on him to walk him tonight he wanted to run and play. I will give him tomorrows dose of pain meds. but most likely won't need to the following day. a member here makes the collars Mom to hot rod. I would give her about a week to get it to you just to be on the safe side. She has lots of cute fabric to pick from too. Im going to try and post a link to her thread about the collar. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ne-collar.html |
