Just registered my name is Freddy and this is 3 year old Spike and his little brother T-Bone. T-Bone is a 1 year old Great Dane/Lab Mix. Spike weighs under 2 pounds and is tiny. The smallest Yorkie I have seen in this city. Really playful and really friendly.

HA ha !! Spike looks to be about the size of Tbone's tongue!! Looks like they are good buddies! Who rules the homestead?

Spike of course. They really like to play and T-Bone tosses Spike around quite a bit, but when Spike has had enough he gets on T-Bone's butt.

That picture really does their sizes no justice. Spike is way smaller than how he looks on there.

Welcome to YT Freddy ! Great pic ..They are both handsome Lil' (hehehe) guys! You are going to love it here on YT, (and to think that spike is full grown and T-Bone still has more growing to do LOL)

I've read around a little bit since I registered like 5 minutes ago but thought I would ask instead. Like SIlverStarShadow said Spike is done growing and from his last visit to the vet he was still under 2 pounds. What kind of Yorkie would he be? Tiny? Teacup?

Kodah is exactly two pounds & I just refer to her as a really small Yorkie - she looks like you just put her in the dryer & shrunk her. I know what you mean about pictures making them look bigger than they are. Two pounds is just close to nothin'!! Welcome to YT - I love the pic & LOVE their names!!!

Hey deviousfred welcome to YT!! CUte Spike!! Hey I see you're from El Paso! I grew up there on the West side...went to Coronado HS! BTW Spike would be a tiny...teacup is not a word that is liked, LOL.

You have me chuckling, wait till you are here awhile and you will understand. Tiny and Teacup can be fighting words here. I personally do not understand the controversy because these words are just descriptive terms, though others feel there is just no such thing. …… “A yorkie is a yorkie no matter how big or small.”, which is true! Further more some breeders use these terms to push up the price, which has merit, but it is still in my opinion a needed description.

Welcome aboard and as far as I am concerned tiny or teacup is just fine with me, though understand I am out numbered and wonder as I write this if I will be banned or just shunned! Truly this is a great place and I love everyone here as well as their yorkies, but opinions are just that—OPINIONS!

He sure is a cute little guy and I look forward to seeing more pictures of him.
