| ![]() Holly was diagnosed with pancreatitis a little over a month ago. We must feed her low fat food. She was always a picky eater. After trying every canned and dry dog food, she is finally eating 'light' Science Diet. I have tried to search for ratings on this food but did not have any luck. Does anyone know if this is a good food. I know the fat content is lower then other foods. Thanks for your help. Sofee |

| ![]() Science diet is being sold in some vets office so they must think that it is good, i am not sure about the ratings on it, i tried it once and my dogs didn't like it. I feed Eukanuba my dogs have been very healthy & they love it.

| ![]() Hi Sofee - Welcome to YorkieTalk! You're going to hear a lot of opinions about this food but I can only share with you my experience. I can't tell you how many different high grade dog foods we tried, including raw and home cooking, and none worked as well as Science Diet for my kids. Their poop is consistantly firm and has been for over a year. We feed the dry tiny I/D & J/D. They like it and it works for us. I know it's been rated as poor... but we've tried the good and I have to do what's best for my kids. If your vet has prescribed this for your pup then I would at least try it to get your baby feeling better, then you can start your search for something that will meet your baby's special needs. But please don't feel bad if you need to feed this food. Best Wishes...
