Hi everyone,
my vet recommended a day of baby food for Izzy to get his tummy back in working order. But only chicken & rice baby food. He never told me how much to give him? has anyone ever had to give their dog baby food for a recovering belly? My lil' boy is only 4lbs. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I plan on calling later this am, but he's starving now, to find out what I do after a day of baby food. Do I slowly wean him back on his dog food or start him back on it full force? I wished the vets would give you an instruction manual lol..cause by the time you walk out of their office, especially if it was upsetting, you forget half the info they give you. Well, that is I do.

i had to to give cassie baby food 3 years ago when they had to pulll her teeth , i gave her about 2 teaspoons at first the most i gave her was 1/4 a jar at a time gave about 3-4 times aday if not a little more

i fed mine baby food; i fed the chicken apple dinner; make sure u get the ones with no or low sodium; as too much salt can induce vomiting; you can also mix it with a bit of banana baby food. you can give about 1 tablespoon which is 3 teaspoons; four times daily; good luck
