| ![]() Hi, fellow yorkie lovers! I posted this in the General Discussion, but thought I ought to post it here too. I've been "lurking" on this board for sometime, and enjoy reading all the posts from all of you, but have never posted. My sister and I breed yorkies in Southern California, but more importantly, WE LOVE OUR YORKIES! I wanted to invite all of you Southern Californians to an all-day event this Saturday put on by the City of Lancaster.... called Bark at the Park. Last year it drew 4000 people, this year they're expecting 5000+. There will be games and contests for your dog, raffles, auctions, vendors, food, fashion show, etc. And the best part is that it's FREE. For more information, you can check out the website, www.lancasterbarkatthepark.org , although it really doesn't say much about it. While you're at it, email them at the addresses listed asking about the times for the events, etc., since I've had no luck getting it posted on there. (Maybe if enough people email, they'll do it). Some of the items to be auctioned are a big dog house, a gorgeous faux mink bed with Princess bowl, toys etc., a 3-day stay at Miracle Springs Resort in Palm Springs, a dog car seat, and lots more! While you're there, stop by our booth, show off that beloved pet, and say hello. Mention that you're from Yorkietalk for a free treat for your Yorkie Pal. And, if you're interested, take a look at our dog apparel, beds, accessories, etc. Just a thought... wouldn't it be fun if the Yorkietalkers set a time to meet, and we could take pictures? Hope to see a lot of you there! Kathy (Janet and all our Yorkie Pals) |
