| ![]() his lady posted this on Craigslist in springfield.... i responded right away... As a dog obedience instructor trainer i knew right away what the problem was .. so i wanted to adopt her .. i sent an email.. but then see below... if anyone can help please do so.. as i can't get there till next week and it will be too late !!!! This is her posting on craigslist... I dont think she is a pure breed yorkie but she looks just like one, but super sized. She is a very SWEET and lovey girl. She is about 8 months old and utd on shots, about 12 pounds or so. I have her rabies and parvo receipt but dont have a tag. She is due for rabies in June of 2010. She loves my daughter, but does NOT like my other dog. She loves to be the center of attention so she needs to be an only dog. I hate to do this to dogs, but I got her and she had been around other dogs in that home so I figured she would be fine here at home. I then realized that the dogs she was around were breeder dogs, not pets, no one got one on one attention. Then she came with me and got all the attention, we came home and she doesnt want to share me! She snapped at my other dog when he was coming up to be petted and again while my daughter was trying to play with them both! I contacted the person I got her from and she will not take her back. She has a leash and a brand new bag of food. So $60 is the rehoming fee. She really is a good girl, just doesnt want to share affection. She is not spayed or registered. She was NOT a breeder dog in the home I got her from so she has not had puppies, she is only about 8 or 9 months old. Please give this dog a good home. I have a loyalty to my dog, he was here first. Also, sorry, she IS going to need to be groomed, shes full of mats on her tummy and her hind legs, could be brushed out maybe. I will be taking a trip next week and then moving after that, so she needs a new home ASAP! Sweet.jpg Location: Springfield it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests PostingID: 1397238249 Then this morning i get this email from her......... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh Im sorry but she lashed out at my dog again after they appeared to be getting along so well, they were even drinking from the same bowl at the same time. Later on, she lunged at him. I tried to take her to the APL but they were full, so I went to the pound and after learning how sought after the dog would be and how they are really low on small breed dogs and a lot of small breeds are adopted faster than large breeds I went ahead and turned her over to them. I feel horrible and after only 24 hours with her I was sad to leave her there. So she is at Sangamon County Animal Conrtol off of Ash St on Shale Rd. Sorry. You know .. i just don't get people at all.. i am sure you can read between the lines here .. this is not the dogs fault !!!! ![]() |

| ![]() This is what she wrote........ little change of wording huh? I had to take her to the pound after she had another altercation with my other dog. I can keep an eagle eye on her. So I had to do it. She is at the Sangamon county animal control off of Ash Street. They said she will probably be adopted quickly and they will make sure its to an only dog home. I felt bad because she really is sweet but I cant have her making my other dog afraid all the time, I cant make her live in a small crate all the time and I cant keep a 24/7 eye on her. Large Yorkie man am i ticked !!! and just pray that dog is ok............. so sad........... |

| ![]() Oh that is so sad. I just hope that she will be okay. Is there any way you can get her from the shelter?

| ![]() I am sure that she will get better care at the shelter. You could call the shelter and maybe they would put a pending on her ujntil you can get there. They probably do not let them go to new homes right away anyway. Good Luck |
