| ![]() Hi Everyone, My 5 month old Yorkie has developed some sort of skin problem. This started about 4 weeks ago. On the back of her neck she has a round (larger than a quarter) size scaly itchy area where the hair has stopped growing. ![]() ![]() Thanks!!!! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() How did they rule out parasites? Did they grow out a culture for 10-14 days? If not, pleassssssse do one! Yorkies are prone to ringworm (compared to other breeds) and this sounds as if it may ringworm.

| ![]() sounds like ringworm to me - go to a dermatologist it will save you time and frustration and they will get to the heart of it much faster than a vet as all they deal with is skin |
