Halloween Party, anyone?!?! - YorkieTalk.com Forums

So here's the skinny...some of us YT'ers in the North Dallas area thought a party would be fun. This way the babies can show off their Halloween costumes, they can run around and play, we peoples could meet and visit, and we could raise some money via raffles & donations for Yorkie Haven Rescue. As some of you know, they recently took in Fiona who BaxtersMommy & Manolo's Mom rescued from the Mesquite Pound.

A wonderful Doggie Daycare, Classy Canine Daycare, in Plano has offered us their facilities to hold our party. It's conveniently located on Preston just south of 190 (George Bush).

More details will be coming, but for right now keep Sat Oct 24's afternoon open. If anyone who'll be able to come could reply, it'll help us to let the facility know how many to expect.

I CANNOT WAIT!!!

I hope lots and lots of people come out!! It will be loads of fun! I so enjoyed our last get together! So excited we are going to help YHR!! Fiona and all the babies will be so grateful!

Oh wow! This sounds so fun. When do you need to know for sure if we are coming or not? I would love to but I just have to ask my hubby if he already has something planned or not.

I'd like to know by the end of Sept, but certainly am not going to put a deadline on it. We want as many YT'ers as can to come so that we can hopefully raise a nice amount to send to Yorkie Haven Rescue for Fiona's medical bills. So check with hubby...heck, bring hubby with you! I'm sure there will be other men there.

Van will be there! He says he is not going to miss his children in costumes!

I love having a husband that is as yorkie crazy as me!

I just joined it even though I am not quite in Dallas...close enough though, lol.

Well as long as hubby hasn't gone back to Afghanistan by then I will bring him. He is on standby for it though. I am so glad I have this group to talk to. I love you guys.

Springtown, that's not too far, like 60-65 miles. Certainly do-able. Would love to meet you and your precious Winston. And please let your DH know how much I appreciate his service and sacrifice for our country. My DH's son did a tour in Afghanistan & Iraq. As proud as I am of his service, I'm awfully glad he is home now.
