| ![]() Tobie is the little Pom, he feel backwards yesterday and hit his head on the tile, rushed him to the EV, they kept him overnight for observation. When he fell you could hear a crack and he went stiff for a few seconds and was very lethargic. His vital signs, appetite, everything was normal. They want me to be careful for 2 days. His weight is 1.87kg, what does that mean in lbs? Tricksie is 8 lbs. I have had to hold him or her almost all day because I didn't want the wrestling. Put him in the playpen and he slept quiet a bit today, but don't want him to sleep too much. I have them out and brought them in my office where there is carpet so they can't RUN. I am such a worry wart. Any advise for me?

| ![]() 1 kilogram = 2.20462262 pounds Head trauma can result in neurological signs: uneven/unsteady gait (walking bringing the front and rear legs on the same side forward at the same time), head tilt, walking in circles, vomiting,... Did the vet give your dog any injections? Did they do xrays?

| ![]() I hope they put him on prednizon. The sleightest of swelling can cause enough damage to cause seizures after the brain heals. So it is very important to control swelling ASAP. |

He is having no neurological or any other problems at all. They said, head trauma and possible concushion, they didn't put him on any medication, wish they gave me something to calm him. He is so active there is no way to keep him calm. He has a very good appetite.

| ![]() SO glad the Pom is doing great! Gosh , just reading your first post made me worry so much. I was raised with poms . My family had them all the time. I am very impartial to them. I hope Tobie continues to do well. Cathy
