| ![]() so my puppy made poo the other day and i saw worms in his stools. i'm thinking he got it when he had fleas. these are the kind of worms that look like grain of rice. i'm stopping by our local pet store to get some medicine for him. does anyone out there know which kind i should get? any recommendations? |

| ![]() Before going to a pet store that will sell you bulls**t . Why not going to you vet ? You can poison your little one by giving unappropriate worm medicine . |

| ![]() I agree. I'd take a sample to the vet. |

| ![]() Yep, I noticed "rice" in Bailey's stools just last week so the Vet gave her one dose of "drontal" yesterday. Bailey has never had fleas - but the vet said she could have ingested one at the groomers...??? $14.97 for one pill! I read on here that someone paid $27 for 1/4 pill - yikes! Good luck!

| ![]() Hannah had tape worms also. I took a sample to the vet. I paid $10.21 for half a pill. It was bone shaped. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | ![]() Toby had a tapeworm back in September. The vet was on vacation and told me to buy this: Farnam D-Worm Tapeworm for Dogs and Puppies at PETCO I actually gave both of mine the meds (half a tablet) and then repeated it a week later to be sure to catch any newly hatched worms that might be in there. Worked like a charm.

| ![]() I went to the vet last night and bought a deworming pill for $26! It was just one pill. I put it in his bowl of kibble. Hopefully this does the trick. |
