What age do our babis Stop getting into everything they can? My 10 month old Suzi got into the bathroom garbagge, and I caught her chewing a plastic aplicater from a tampon

why do they always want to find the most discusting, nasty, filthy thing to get into??? Now I am worried that she wil get ill... Sorry for being so graphic, we were home, and Suzi is usually right with us!
Will this behavior decrease as she gets older? Thanks

My Jewels is 4 and will still get a tampon if she can get it so I dont think they outgrow it. We just have to keep our bathroom door closed and also I empty the trash container frequently

First time she has ever done this, and Yes , my sone did leave the bathroom door open, and Yes, i am mortified.. Just hopiong it would get easier after Suzi got a little older.. I must be more diligent with the doors closed.

ha that's funny because one day Tyke was in my bathroom with me well i turn around and he takes off running, so i chase him in the living room. Thank goodness the tampon he had was a new one and hadn't been open...

it was funny!

mickey's 13 and still manage to play with my tampon if i forget to close my room door...

i dont know what it is with dogs but it seems like most of ppl's dogs go for the blood!

mickey goes nuts over anything with blood! even tissues with nose blood on it yuk!

I was embaraased to even ask this question, however looks like some of you guys know how i feel, LOL . We are very cautious pet owners, and today since it is a Holiday, son is lazy and uncoperative! He's a teenager! Argggg .
Suzi being much like a toddler, has really kept me on my toes today! + we now have baby Cockateils , what fun is that !

LOL--I had to chuckle when I read your post. I have 2 yorkies one is 5 and is pretty much a perfect angel and then there is Mayzie

she is my 3 year old. I think she will be a lifelong toddler. Very curious and into everything all the time. <sigh>

Try getting a taller garbage can that she can't get into. Maybe one with a top.

When Callie started getting in to the trash we had to buy all new trash cans with lids for the bathrooms and some of the bedrooms.
