| ![]() My 4 months old Yorkie has all his shots except for Lyme disease shot and Corona. Is it safe for him to be walked, taken to the groomer and play with other dogs yet? And I hear Lyme disease is not very nessesary, is it true? |

Would you consider groom him yourself? There are many wonderful videos and even a step by step tutorial done by a YT member on how to do it, easy, and safe for your baby.

| ![]() When is a good time to take him to the groomer? At how many weeks? I bathed him myself yesterday. But he just needs a hair cut really bad. |

| ![]() One or two weeks after his last puppy shots is fine. Lymes and corona are not core vaccines and I would have to have a very, very strong case to give them.

| ![]() You can Google Dr. Jean Dodds vaccine protocol and read the American Animal Hospital report. There has to be a good reason to get non-core vaccines (especially lepto if it is ever given at all) and in most areas there aren't enough benefits to give most of them.

| ![]() Here is Dr. Dodds vaccine protocol: W Jean Dodds Vaccine Protocol VACCINATION PROTOCOLS No corona or lepto. Wait two weeks after his last round of shots for full immunity. Did he get bordatella? Most groomers require that to prevent kennel cough. |

| ![]() Yes he got his Bordetella just last week. It was a nasal thing, not a shot. What about the Lyme Disease shot? |

| ![]() I replied to your other post also, but wanted to let you know that if you are interested, PM me and I'll give you Duke's vet's info if you feel that yours is after the money. Duke's vet is very gentle with Duke and adores pets...he made me feel confident and welcomed from the very first visit. He is in Chelsea, not sure where you are in NYC
