|  Greetings from a new poster and her writing Yorkie! Hi, everybody ! What a great site. This is my first post on YorkieTalk. My name is Carol Porter; I'm the mom of Oliver Wendell Bones Porter, who will turn 14 next month. As a journalist, I guess it's inevitable that I would end up with a literary Yorkie: Oliver has produced an amazing story titled HOW THE YORKIE RESCUED SANTA -- An Adventure in Doggerel. What a talent! Next he'll be trying for the Pulitzer Prize. Oliver, despite his advanced age and recent deafness, is happy, healthy and agile. However, he's had some problems with allergies this fall-- I think from leaf mold and possibly the wild animals that come through our yard. He has chewed his left rear paw to the point of extreme inflammation -- but steroids from the vet seem to be taking effect. Hoping for an allergy-free new year, and wishing everyone --both two- and four-footed -- happy holidays! I'll watch for you here, or on my website: csp@csporter.com |

|  Hi!  Welcome!   Would love to see pictures of your literary Yorkie. Gracie Ruth has an interest in scrapbooking...she ate one of scrapbooks...the Santa Pictures one  I told her she had to be on her best behavior for the rest of the year if she had any hopes of Santa bringing her some toys.

| Hi! Thanks for the welcome--how exciting! Re pictures: I'm a technogoof (this website seems complicated to me!) so I can't post any at the moment. Perhaps Oliver can help me figure it all out. | Hi there -- thanks for the welcome! Well, maybe you can divert Gracie Ruth by teaching her how to use the crimping shears! Your little babies are adorable. As I told 2 other nice greeters, I'm technically incompetent, so I'll have to get someone to show me how to post photos. | Welcome to YT! I am also a writer and so is my little girl, Ella Bean. Her older brother, Louis Reginald (Louie) is not as intellectual. He is more tennis ball-centric. Can't wait to learn more about you and your pooch! Awesome name too!
