| ![]() I am looking for ideas since I have a picky eater. Do any of you all~? I've gone thru like 6-8 types of foods for him, even wet. The only one he ate the whole bag of was "Royal Canine" from Petsmart. Now he turns his nose around to "Royal Cainine". Yesterday, I went to "Feeder's Supply" here and got "A Taste of Raw", which is fridge food that is raw made into burger shapes. They also have raw bones too. He ate that this am and passed up the "Royal Cainine" dry. What do I do now~? He has no troubles with dry treats". All suggestions are appreciated. |

| ![]() You can feed raw if that is something you are comfortable with. If you decide to go that way, I would look further into the brand you mentioned and see kind of ingredients they use and where it it made. Ellie eats homecooked (so wet food) with treats of all kinds including raw vegetables.

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | ![]() My kiddos either eat Raw, or Dry Kibble. I have never really fed them canned.

| ![]() I had a very picky chihuahua girl and once I switched them over to Nature's Variety Raw medallions she has become a great eater. She eats her food really quickly and then runs over and tries to steal other's food!

Have you tried Evangers canned? Natural Balance kibble? If he likes raw and you want to go that way, do you have access to Nature's Variety? Would you like to homecook? Or if he isn't too small or too young you can get tough and leave a bowl of kibble down (with no wet) and he will eat when he is ready. I don't like this method though.

| ![]() We have been feeding Maxximum to our husky mix for well over a year and Shadow has been on it since bringing him home 4 months ago. It's the best food you are going to find at Walmart. It doesn't have any byproducts and I believe is wheat free. |

| ![]() How old is your puppy? If she's not too young and in danger of hypoglycemia, I think most picky eaters have a correctable behavioral problem and are usually in need of some tough love--pick a good, nutritious food and just go with it. This same problem has been discussed numerous times on this forum, including here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ot-eating.html Good luck! |

| ![]() I keep Dry kibble down at all times for Suzi. She gets snacks in between meals. I also have canned food for her, however, I don't always give that to her. ![]()

| ![]() I've tried a bunch of dry kibble samples from the Free Sample Sticky and so far, my pup liked Canidae All Life Stages ALOT (he ate it like candy) and Wellness CORE Ocean Flavor (smells very fishy, but he likes that alot too). He's on Wellness Just for Puppies right now, but doesn't gobble it down. I've heard that Merrick Turdurken (add a bit of water to the dry kibble for gravy) is good and I've heard good things about Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's Soul wet and dry food. If you request samples from different companies, you could see what your dog likes better... Good luck! |
