I have been using Nature's Variety Instinct and Raw. I have a question about the Instinct kibble size. Charlie just finished his bag of Chicken Meal (small kibble) so I went out and bought Duck & Turkey Meal, but these kibbles are much bigger, do the different varieties have different size kibbles? This is weird to me, most companies have the same kibble unless it's breed specific. I am not happy with the kibble size and I am wondering if the Rabbit Meal is the same size (small) like the chicken or is it bigger like the Duck & Turkey? Your input would be appreciated especially if you are using this kibble or have used it in the past. Thanks!!

Hi! I've not tried instincts yet, but plan on it when our bag of Wellness is gone. But, we were feeding our pup Royal Canin Puppy, and then switched to wellness, and the size difference was extreme! So I grab a handful of the Wellness kibble at a time and put them in a ziplock freezer bag and break them up with a mallet or rolling pin to make the pieces smaller. So far so good! Hope this helps a little!

Thanks for your input, I will have to try that. Still would like to know how the Rabbit kibble is though, so maybe someone will help me out with that.

I have the chicken flavor now...and my Biewers (who are very picky) eat it mixed with Eagle puppy. However, after hearing that some dogs preferred the rabbit...I went and purchased a bag, The kibble is much to big, very dark and smelled sour...almost rotten. Not one of mine wanted it. I ended up tossing the whole bag as it smelled very bad. I will not purchase the rabbit variety again!! Last edited by kpstoybox; 07-29-2008 at 08:57 PM. Reason: spelling

| Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | maybe i'm using to feeding normal size small dog kibble, but i honestly didn't think the rabbit ones were big. mine had no problem eating them. yes they are darker and smell but i didn't see anything wrong with it. its dog food, they all smell. LOL
