| ![]() Today the air quality is much better where I live, thankfully. I heard a scary thing on the news last night about small pets having difficulty breathing due to the smoke. Is anybody noticing this with their yorkies?

| ![]() We have a fire going on in the mountains surrounding were I live right now. It is pretty smoky, but mine haven't shown any signs of problems.... Hopefully they will get these fires out soon!

| ![]() No problems here, but rarely are we bothered with smoke. If it gets too bad for the fur kids, then keep the windows all shut and just turn on the fan from the heater for nice circulation. |

| ![]() Today the air is clearer but we're still staying inside. I just can't believe they aren't going to ban fireworks this weekend. |

| ![]() Things are much better here in the Sac area this week but we stayed in all last week. We did ALOT of indoor ball playing!! I did have a friend though that keeps her baby outside during the day and when she came home her baby was slighty wheezing and had watery eyes. Vet said it was due to air/smoke. I was quite angry with her. I work from home and she knows I would have gone to get her baby. Needless to say she felt awful and her baby stayed with Pokey and I during the day for the rest of the week! I decided not to show my disappointment. I think it was a lesson learned for her and I could see the guilt in her face for putting baby in danger. But yes, the smoke has been quite awful. Stay safe all you others in closer to the fires. I wish you all well! ![]()

| ![]() It's very smokey in the Reno-Tahoe area today. We are keeping ours in doors more, and they seem to be doing fine. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() I just let my fur babies out yesterday for the first time since all the fires started. It was windy yesterday so it really cleared up and clear today. Mine are so spoiled they live in an air conditioned humidified room most of the time. They hate to go out if it is too hot or too cold.
