I need to find Tyson a new groomer as we just moved to the Houston area. I also need to find him a new vet!! ANY recommendations?!?!?!

I don't have any recommendations for you because I live in Ohio. I need a new groomer too! I have a few places that I want to try, I just don't know which one to pick!! Good luck in your search for the perfect groomer and vet. If anyone knows of a great groomer in Lake County, Ohio, please PM me and let me know! Thanks in advance!

Hey Gal and welcome to Houston. I live in Pearland which is just south of the Medical Center but I can point you in the direction of a few great vets -- mine is in town (Houston).

I love my groomer, but she is in Pearland. I've had decent results in Houston, but some are just really "proud" of themselves with their prices and quite honestly, their work wasn't "all that"!

Let me know what area of town you are in and I may be able to help you. Houston is HUGE!

BTW....my Yorkie-Poo's name is Tyson too....God bless him...he's 14.5 and doesn't look, nor act a day over 7!

I am from the Sugar Land area but I am willing to drive to find a good groomer and vet. My family lives in Pearland and I have been to one down there but the one I have been to lost their groomer and the last time I took him in to them they didn't do a good job

Okay...the vet that we've been going to for almost 15 years is Dr. Danielle Rosser -- she's with West Alabama Animal Clinic on West Alabama @ Shepherd. Her number is 713.528.0818. We were her first clients when she opened her practice.

The groomer that I go to in Pearland (you could actually either take the Tollway to 518 or come the back way down Highway 6 to Pearland), is Beverly with Beverly's Touch of Class. She's on 518 just past Telephone Rd./35. She does beautiful work on my dogs and is BEYOND reasonable with her prices. Her telephone number is 281.412.5959.

I love both of them because you get "personalized" service -- it's like family. If you have any questions or want me to go more into details, PM me.

Make sure to tell them that Tia Artisst referred you if you decide to give them a try.

I am new to the world of yorkies. I have always been raised around Chis and I got my little baby Ladybug on Friday afternoon. Boy, Am i in love!!

!!!!!!! Anyhow she's five months old and I'd like to start her out with a good groomer in the Houston area. I live in Wharton about 60 miles SW of town (down 59), but I work in Houston.

I also someone with an earlier post about a groomer in Victoria. Any updated recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. I work in the medical ctr so anything close by there would be great! Or anything not close by there would be great too. As long as there good to my new love Ladybug!

Hey there - I'm in Houston - In 4 years - I've been to 5 different groomers and do the girls myself ...it's really hard to find a good groomer - I used to drive an hour to Richmond Tx till they messed up and shaved Chanel down without asking or telling me - GOOD LUCK !

and for those in Sugar Land - WATCH OUT for the Groomer in the First Colony Vet Clinic - There was a mom and her daughter grooming when I was last there - and they hurt Chanel. Driving home with her after her appointment - she whimpered every time I touched her side. I was SO upset and still am - I'd STILL love to get in that womans face and it's been over 2 years since that happened. I don't know if they're still there

hopefully they don't groom pets anymore.
