| ![]() Sorry have been away dealing w/ my Yorkie. He has an onset of Mange, and has been on antibiotics and bathing. was doing well for a while but I think we're back to square one again. not sure how long this is going to take but it is very frustrating. anyone out there have any suggestions or ideas on how to cope with this? It has become quite expensive with the medicine and vet bills. ![]() |

| ![]() Hi Jrzy. Sorry to hear about your little one. Maybe you can share as to where he came from so no one else goes through this. Also, can't you send the breeder the vet bills? Elaine |

| ![]() I just wanted to send you some positive vibes. I have been through it with demodex with my Biewer Samira and it is a long and time consuming process. We'll be check in to see how things are going.

| ![]() I don't have experience with mange but one of my dogs got ringworm and gave it to me and 2 of my other dogs and we went through 4 months of stinky sulfur dips and meds and tests. So I can feel for you that way! It's hard but eventually it's over and their hair grows back and you can hardly remember what it was like...I wish you nothing but the best! Hang in there!

| ![]() Hi, Vet told me that he has demodex mange. I've already done the lyme dips, now we're doing the moisturize shampoo & another self drying medicine every two weeks. yes, it is a long and grueling process.. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | ![]() Demodex is the better of the manges. At least its not contagious to people or other dogs. certain shampoos can help make it go away and there are creams you can put on it too. it will go away eventually but your right, its a pain in the butt.
